Alicia Keys is a name to reckon with in the music industry. She was born on January 25, 1981, in Manhattan, New York. She was born to a White mother, Terri Augello, and a Black father, Craig Cook and was raised in the Hell's Kitchen section of New York City. Alicic was born to be a music star. At a very tender age of four she gave a start to her career with a role in "Wizard of Oz" . One of the most important influence in her life to whom can be credited the entire success of Alicia is her mother. She was very strict for her music lessons. She had told Alicia that nothing in her life is as important as her piano lessons. She began playing piano when she was seven. She learned classical music by composers such as Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin, who was her favorite composer.....
